We read the room before we change it.
Leadership intensives and executive facilitation for the teams carrying an institution's hardest decisions.
The approach
Facilitation is not neutrality. It is holding a room honest.
Senior teams rarely lack analysis. What they lack is a setting where the disagreement can be said out loud and worked through, rather than settled in the corridor afterwards. We prepare on the institution's own material, name the tensions in the room rather than smoothing them, and close every session with decisions and actions in writing within twenty-four hours. Calm strength under pressure. Decisions that hold.
What we work on
We work with the teams who carry the decision.
Leadership Evolution
The flagship one-day intensive: six integrated modules across identity, trust, culture, succession, resilience and strategic action. Delivered five times a year.
Executive facilitation
Strategy days, leadership retreats and decision-oriented working sessions for executive teams and Councils.
Team and culture work
Trust, inclusion and psychological safety as the working conditions of a decision, not as a separate programme.
Succession and legacy
Preparing others to lead, and shaping a legacy actively rather than leaving one passively.
Recent work
Delivered with facilitators who have led institutions and shaped national policy.
Leadership Evolution is designed and led with Ray Lind ONZM, The Hon. Dame Annette King and Professor Emeritus Margaret Hay, alongside Benjie-Etta Norman.
A one-day format, held five times a year
The program runs five times a year for 15 to 30 participants, across academic and professional staff, so a cohort is small enough to be honest in.
Six modules, one arc
Leadership within, trust and inclusion, style and culture, succession and legacy, surviving and thriving in systems, and action planning tied to institutional priorities.
How an engagement runs
Senior practitioners shape and deliver every engagement.
We take on a small number of engagements at any time. The people in the room at the start are the people in the room at the end: senior practitioners who have led institutions and shaped national policy from the inside. We design for the decade after the engagement, not the quarter after the report.
- Starts with
- A conversation about what the team actually cannot say to each other yet.
- Produces
- Decisions and actions in writing within twenty-four hours of the session.
- Staffed by
- The facilitators named on the program. Who scopes it delivers it.
- Held to
- The room's standard, not the clock's. If the work is not ready, we move the session, not the standard.
The limits
What this practice does not do.
We do not run team-building as entertainment. Every session has a decision attached to it.
We do not manufacture urgency to sell remediation. Diagnosis on the merits, always.
We do not hand a cohort to a facilitator who was not in the design.
The full refusal list is on our philosophy page.

A leadership team under load, a strategy day that has to land, or a conversation the executive keeps deferring.
